Roku 4 announced for October launch

Joining the party of recent streaming media devices, micro consoles and other TV gadgets comes the Roku 4. Beefed up with a quad-core processor, enabling up to 60 fps 4K streaming, HDCP 2.2 and the return of SP-DIF optical audio out, it sets a new standard for a media device, but remains focused on content and not games.

With improved interface, voice search, a remote control finder, better app and access to pretty much all services apart including Amazon Instant Video, it should be quite the object of desire for the 4K crowd, and only $129.
