While ripping off PlayStation and Xbox designs to an immense degree, China is getting its own console project off the ground with the Fuze Tomahawk X. With a diminutive black box that mirrors the PS4 and a controller that could easily pass for an Xbox model, it might get China's console scene out of first gear, or not.
The devices are unlikely to come west in their current form as they'd be sued into oblivion, but maybe a revised model in a few years when China's developers are more established? Who knows, it does support English language titles. The device runs on Android but it looks like a mix of mobile and PC games will hit the Fuze, including Assassin's Creed, Saint's Row, BlazBlue and a herd of local titles.
Digital-distribution only, a base version comes with 32GB storage, while a slightly larger model will pack a 500GB hard drive. The specs include the mighty Nvidia Tegra K1, Nvidia Kepler and 4GB DDR3 RAM.
