Nintendo is everywhere at the moment with Mario Run hitting iOS next week, and the company giving some mass media coverage to its microconsole/portable Switch. You can't get much more coverage in America than on Jimmy Fallon, although they could be on Oprah next!
There's already some interest from indies in porting their games to the Switch (see list), which will help give the console some width to its games, but buyers will likely wait to see if traditional console developers will support it, beyond the odd launch title.
