If not, Evercade is hitting the retailers (in Canada, anyway) now, and the UK release is getting closer, with the cargo container on these shores and past customs. Which leaves buyers wondering what will be next on the roster after they've snapped up all the launch offerings?
The developers have a little tease with two snippets of useful information:
- It is from a new publisher
- There's 11 games in it
- And we already know it launches in June
Other than that, guess we have to wait and see, but I'm hoping for something from Hamster or Taito.
The next cartridge is a new publisher with 11 well loved games. No more clues. pic.twitter.com/9sppPnuh8M— Evercade (@evercaderetro) May 23, 2020
After launch we have a confirmed pair of Atari Lynx carts to look forward to, and another tweet shows testing is going well on these, with the flip mode incorporated!
Experimenting with this, for our upcoming Atari Lynx games. The original Lynx console had a 'flip' switch, for left or right handed play.— Evercade (@evercaderetro) May 24, 2020
Also note, that loverly screen ratio, utilising much more of our screen (and much more than a 4:3 would have supported!) pic.twitter.com/QRx65FehaY
